In Wurmauenpark, skaters and streetball players will find an attractive facility. The skate park was completely modernized in 2022, allowing for high-level sports activities. Made entirely of concrete, the track offers optimal rolling properties. The highlight is undoubtedly the bowl, which offers special challenges, but there are also various rails and boxes for skaters to try out their skills.

Between the skate and streetball areas, there is a unique element that can be approached from one side and transforms into a small grandstand on the other, where athletes and spectators can rest. The streetball court, measuring 28 x 15 meters, features a total of three hoops, allowing cross-court play when there is a large crowd.

A spray wall nearby offers legal opportunities for creating great artwork, and a covered seating area is planned for next year. The new skate park was funded with €180,000 from the NRW state sports facilities investment program.
