Grenzlandtheater (Theater)
The Grenzlandtheater Aachen was founded and opened in 1950 by actor Kurt Sieder as a private theater in Aachen. Since 2006, it has also included the Junge Grenzlandtheater “GRETA,” which specializes in children's and youth programs.
The Grenzlandtheater Aachen is known for its diverse repertoire. From sophisticated comedies, modern classics, and contemporary drama to musicals, the Grenzlandtheater offers its audience a colorful and varied selection. Performances take place not only in the theater at the Elisen Galerie but also in many locations around Aachen, including Geilenkirchen. The performances in Geilenkirchen are held in the auditorium of the municipal secondary school, Gillesweg 1.
